Chief People Officer (CPO)

The Company sought a Chief People Officer to support its next stage of growth, partnering closely with the Founder and CEO as the organization evolved from a founding team into a larger, international business. The role called for leadership through international expansion and mergers and acquisitions, including integrating teams across regions. The CPO would also serve as a trusted executive and leadership coach and help shape a cohesive, mission-driven culture. Success depended on aligning leadership around candidates’ approach, attitude, and values, alongside relevant experience. The ideal candidate would have experience supporting a business through significant growth, particularly from around 150 to 500 or more employees, and working closely with a Founder or CEO during organizational transformation. Experience with international expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and integrating engineering and product teams across regions was sought. Strong executive coaching and leadership development capabilities, as well as a commitment to a mission-driven organization, were important. The role also required openness to regular international travel.
