Vice President, Transaction Legal

The Company is seeking a Transaction Legal VP to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of legal tasks, including the review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide range of finance documentation. This encompasses banking, funds finance, and insurance finance documentation, with a focus on both new and existing agreements. The role also involves advising and liaising with business promotion groups and operational teams on legal and structuring issues, as well as monitoring and providing guidance on regulatory matters and market developments related to finance products. Applicants for the Transaction Legal VP position at the company should be qualified lawyers with a post-qualification experience of approximately 2 to 8 years. A solid background in funds finance, general banking, and insurance finance products, gained at a reputable law firm and/or financial institution, is essential. The role requires a proactive approach to legal issues, the ability to raise and escalate important legal risks, and a commitment to the development of the organization and the elimination of legal risk. The ideal candidate will have a good familiarity with market-standard loan documentation and fund finance structures and be prepared to support general finance work as part of the legal group.
