Associate Vice President, Screening Optimization & Analytics Greater Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Screening Optimization and Analytics within its Financial Crime Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for tuning, calibration, optimization, and analytics activities across the group's sanctions screening and AML monitoring platforms. This role is pivotal in maintaining fit-for-purpose screening and monitoring configurations, improving the quality and effectiveness of alerts, and producing analytics and management information in line with global regulatory requirements and the company's policies. The AVP will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the implementation of the company's systems roadmap, and ensuring that the necessary changes are well-coordinated with IT and other stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for additional financial crime compliance certification. A minimum of 4 years' experience in data analysis, data management, and sanctions screening or AML monitoring systems is required, along with a strong knowledge of financial crime control environments. The role demands expertise in screening and monitoring platforms, particularly those related to financial crime, and proficiency in SQL and Power BI. Experience with scripting languages and exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with various teams, managing system changes, and delivering user training to ensure the smooth operation of the screening and monitoring systems.
