Associate Vice President & Controller

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President and Controller to lead accounting and financial operations across a portfolio of complex construction projects. The role partners with project, operational, and finance leaders from bidding through project completion, overseeing project accounting, job costing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing monthly close, financial statements, variance analysis, joint venture accounting, audits, and regulatory reporting. The Controller will strengthen internal controls, support financial planning and strategic initiatives, and lead teams across accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA is preferred. At least seven years of progressive senior-level accounting or finance experience is required, including construction or project-based accounting and demonstrated team leadership. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential; percentage-of-completion accounting experience is preferred. Applicants should also bring advanced spreadsheet skills, familiarity with accounting and reporting systems, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage competing priorities and collaborate across project locations. North American cross-border experience is an advantage.
