Vice President of Engineering Operational Excellence

The Company is seeking a VP, Engineering Operational Excellence to lead the operating model that ensures the engineering organization executes with efficiency, predictability, and at scale. This executive will be responsible for engineering resource and capacity planning, operational performance reporting, process excellence, and technology enablement. The role demands a strategic operations leader with a strong background in translating engineering priorities into executable roadmaps, governance routines, and cross-functional action plans. The successful candidate will also be a key player in driving digital transformation, particularly in the areas of PLM, product data governance, and AI-enabled productivity tools. Key responsibilities for the VP, Engineering Operational Excellence include leading engineering portfolio governance, owning resource and organizational planning, driving process excellence, and establishing operational metrics. The role requires a minimum of 12 years' experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related technical field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engineering operations, PMO/portfolio governance, and cross-functional leadership, particularly in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment. Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills are essential, as is the ability to support engineering financial and business management. The position is pivotal in coordinating cross-functional execution to ensure strategic initiative alignment and improve product vitality and velocity.
