Head of CNC Programming

The Company is seeking a Head of CNC Programming to lead its CAD-to-CAM team and establish programming standards for automated five-axis CNC cells. The role combines hands-on programming of complex aerospace and defense components with leadership of team training, process development, and probing systems for lights-out production. The successful candidate will prove out programs on five-axis machining centers and collaborate with engineering teams on tooling, workholding, pallet strategies, and CAM workflow automation. They may also contribute to post-processor development and oversee a machine shop or programming team. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience and expert-level Siemens NX CAM skills, along with strong knowledge of CNC manufacturing, programming, and milling. Experience with in-process probing, macro and offset programming, in-cycle inspection, and Heidenhain, Siemens, or Fanuc controls is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents eligible to work in compliance with applicable regulations. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
