Assistant Vice President, Java Full Stack Development Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for a Java Full Stack Development role within its Cash Portfolio Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cash application components, with a focus on ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability to support future scalability and growth. This role involves hands-on development using Java and Spring framework technologies, as well as an understanding of ReactJS and SQL concepts. The candidate will also lead problem-solving efforts for complex technical challenges, own the end-to-end deliverable of system features, and collaborate closely with business analysts, technical architects, and the internal team to deliver high-quality, low-latency, and sustainable software solutions. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong proficiency in Java and a proven track record in building scalable, high-performance, multi-tier applications. Experience in designing, building, and deploying distributed systems and scalable microservices, particularly with Spring Boot, is essential. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably on AWS, and knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies. Front-end development experience using modern web technologies, including React, Node.js, HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, and JSON, is also a key requirement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, the ability to lead the design and delivery of robust software solutions, and a demonstrated understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services domain, particularly with front office applications, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field are also necessary.
