The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for AI Risk Advisory and Governance. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring the safe and ethical adoption of generative artificial intelligence technologies. This role involves a comprehensive review and challenge of AI use cases from a risk perspective, including model, data, cyber, technology, and emerging risk types. The AVP will work closely with business, technology, and risk teams to align AI solutions with the company's risk appetite and regulatory standards. Additionally, the role includes developing and implementing risk management assessments and controls specific to AI, driving governance lifecycles, and engaging with stakeholders to embed risk considerations throughout the AI lifecycle. Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in AI/machine learning, risk management, or technology risk within financial services or a regulated environment. Technical proficiency in AI and machine learning, particularly with generative AI models, is essential. The role requires a strong background in various risk areas, analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and influence across different teams. Professional certifications in AI/ML, technology risk, or cyber security are a plus, as is experience with technology architecture or solutions. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards for AI risk management.
