Associate Vice President, Legal Counsel, APAC Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Legal Counsel for the APAC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of legal and compliance activities, with a primary focus on legal reviews, compliance, and legal operations. This includes the review and negotiation of various legal documents, coordination of investment committee and board meetings, and providing legal advice on a variety of issues. The role also involves maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to material non-public information, and supporting the legal operations team in process improvements and special projects. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university, with at least 10 years of hands-on legal experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a law firm or private practice. The role requires the ability to work autonomously, engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, motivated, and driven to take on new projects and see them through to completion. Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and an ethical mindset are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
