Senior Vice President, Data Science & Generative AI Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking a senior AI technical leader to define and drive its enterprise strategy and architecture for generative AI and agentic systems. The role will lead research, design, and prototyping of advanced AI platforms, and serve as lead architect for complex, large-scale initiatives with demanding reliability, security, and performance requirements. Responsibilities include establishing technical standards and developing evaluation and governance capabilities that can be embedded in client-facing solutions. The leader will advise senior executives on AI opportunities and risks, mentor senior technical talent, and foster innovation and technical excellence; the management track also includes organizational leadership, budget oversight, and strategic planning. Candidates should have at least 14 years of software architecture and engineering experience, with substantial focus on AI and machine learning, and a record of delivering large-scale, distributed, highly available systems. Deep expertise in generative AI, large language models, and production-grade agentic solutions is required, along with mastery of cloud-native technologies, MLOps, and the AI/ML lifecycle. Applicants should bring recognized technical leadership, strong mentoring skills, and a deep understanding of financial services, including regulatory, compliance, and security considerations. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, engineering, or a related quantitative field is required; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
