The Company is seeking an AI Application Engineer to join its Core Engineering Shared Services AI team. This team operates as an internal, forward-deployed AI engineering function, working closely with the Core business teams to identify and develop AI solutions that have a significant business impact. The role involves rapid prototyping, application delivery, and production AI/ML integration, with a focus on cloud-native applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, build, and operationalization of these applications, using modern software engineering practices and CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities include business partnership, solution architecture, and knowledge transfer to ensure the long-term success of the AI applications. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, at least 9 years of hands-on software engineering experience, and a strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go. Experience with major cloud platforms and the design of cloud-based AI solution architectures is essential. The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience in building agentic AI systems and optimizing production AI systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and be familiar with the full lifecycle of AI application development, from prototyping to production.
