Senior Executive Director, Development

The Company is seeking a Senior Executive Director of Development to lead principal-gift fundraising and cultivate high-capacity prospects and donors in support of academic initiatives. The role involves advising senior leaders on fundraising activities, building donor relationships, and advancing major philanthropic opportunities. The successful candidate will also serve as a mentor and role model to gift officers, contributing to the broader development team’s effectiveness. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in development, fundraising, sales, communications, or public relations, or a master’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience. Strong public relations, oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in word processing and standard software. A valid U.S. driver’s license is also required.
