The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel II to provide strategic legal guidance across its value-based healthcare business. The role advises senior leaders and cross-functional teams on provider and payer initiatives, compliance, regulatory developments, and legal risk, while helping design compliant business models. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial and provider agreements; researching and interpreting healthcare laws; and developing compliance strategies, policies, controls, and training. The attorney will also advise on marketing and advertising materials, manage outside counsel, and support resolution of complex legal issues. Candidates must hold a JD from an accredited law school and have at least five years of experience at a value-based healthcare company, including work involving provider relationships, regulatory affairs, marketing, managed care, and provider operations. Required experience includes healthcare marketing compliance and drafting and negotiating complex contracts, along with knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, telemedicine, data security, corporate practice of medicine, and fraud and abuse laws. Applicants must be admitted in good standing to at least one state bar and have demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced healthcare or telehealth organization. Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and business judgment skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
