Associate General Counsel, Employment Law

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Employment Law, to serve as its primary employment law advisor to Human Resources, senior leadership, and business units. The role provides strategic counsel on employee relations, investigations, accommodations, leave, compensation, hiring, workforce changes, immigration, and labor relations. Responsibilities include developing policies and compliance practices, assessing legal risks and regulatory developments, managing disputes and litigation, and overseeing outside counsel. The attorney will also deliver training and practical guidance, and collaborate on employment matters involving transactions, benefits, and regulated operations. Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar, with at least eight years of progressive employment law experience. Deep knowledge of federal and Massachusetts employment laws, along with experience managing employment litigation and agency proceedings, is required. The role calls for strong business judgment, communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, as well as the ability to prioritize a high volume of matters. Experience in a regulated industry, labor relations, immigration, employee benefits, pay equity, or employment-related technology and privacy matters is preferred.
