The Company is seeking a VP, Fixed Income Index Investment Management Product Engineering & Innovation Lead to spearhead the strategy, engineering, and delivery of proprietary applications that support global fixed income index portfolio management teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the roadmap and evolution of these applications, partnering with product owners and workflow leads to translate business capabilities into technology solutions, and defining the technical direction for the technology suite. A strong background in fixed income is essential for understanding investment workflows and anticipating future needs. The role also involves leading engineering teams, overseeing the full development lifecycle, and ensuring that technology delivery aligns with business priorities. Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership within asset management, financial services, capital markets, or related industries. The role requires a proven track record in leading large-scale engineering organizations, experience with modern programming languages, and a deep understanding of portfolio management workflows and front-office investment platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in application modernization, cloud technologies, APIs, and distributed architectures, and the ability to anticipate business needs and shape technology strategy accordingly. Strong leadership, partnership, and communication skills are also a must, as the role involves fostering strong relationships across global business and technology organizations.
