Vice President, Administrator

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Administrator to lead St. Joseph's Medical Center and the Brainerd Lakes Area clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the hospital and clinics, including budget and operating results, and will be a key leader in the community. This role involves owning the regional budget, working with the finance team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The Vice President, Administrator will also be tasked with growing and expanding services in the region, particularly in the areas of virtual care and innovative care models, and will be expected to represent the company in various community and professional settings. Candidates for this position should have a Master’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of progressive healthcare management experience. The role requires a strong background in healthcare finance, a proven track record of working with physician leaders, and experience in leading change and making it sustainable. The ideal candidate will have a background in a highly matrixed health system, experience in a union environment, and a history of board, civic, or foundation involvement. The Vice President, Administrator will be expected to live in the Brainerd Lakes Area and be an active leader in the community, so a deep commitment to the region and its values is essential.
