General Counsel

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to join its Executive Committee. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the legal strategy in alignment with the group's strategic directions. This includes managing the entire legal function, providing guidance to legal teams, and advising the CEO and governance bodies on critical decisions such as corporate transactions, strategic partnerships, and restructurings. The role also involves ensuring the group's compliance and governance, as well as proactively monitoring legal developments to anticipate and mitigate risks. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should hold a Master's degree in business law, with an LLM or international training being preferred. A minimum of ten years' experience, with a significant background in a senior legal role within a complex group environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing direct legal advice on key strategic decisions, particularly in the areas of corporate transactions. Fluency in English, influential leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and political acumen are essential.
