Vice President of Finance Greater Chicago, IL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their Leadership Team as a strategic finance partner to the IT organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, IT financial governance, and providing technology-related financial support to enhance operational effectiveness and profitability. This role involves leading a team of financial professionals, serving as a bridge between finance and IT cloud development teams, and ensuring that cloud spending is managed to maximize value. The VP will also direct key financial analysis, prepare forecasts, and lead the organization in decision support, financial planning, and analysis efforts. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of finance and financial leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with 20 years'. A background in supporting the IT sector or tech companies is also preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of operational finance, GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and SOX requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying data analysis and visualization techniques to large financial and operational data sets, as well as the ability to effectively communicate financial information and lead change within an organization. Strong business acumen, the ability to influence business decisions, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The VP will be expected to lead the business in controlling costs, driving change, and managing strategic activities to ensure the company remains a leader in digital implementations and technology-enabled supply chain solutions.
