General Counsel

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to play a pivotal role in the establishment and leadership of its Legal function. This is a unique opportunity to build the function from the ground up during a significant phase of growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded legal executive, adept at the intersection of business, strategy, and law, and will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including commercial, land, power, and corporate issues. Key responsibilities include supporting major customer contracts, infrastructure investments, financing activities, and strategic partnerships, as well as establishing governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks. The role demands a strategic leader who can balance growth opportunities with effective risk management and who is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving environment. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a background that includes significant experience in a senior legal leadership role, with a focus on complex commercial negotiations and legal matters across various disciplines.
