Interim Head of Enterprise Infrastructure & Workplace Technology Greater Dallas, TX Area

The Company is seeking an interim Head of Enterprise Infrastructure & Workplace Technology to lead the function while remaining hands-on in architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and operations. Responsibilities include managing and developing a small team, delivering cloud infrastructure and network services, and overseeing workplace technology such as endpoints, device management, collaboration tools, meeting-room systems, and employee onboarding and offboarding. The role will establish operational standards for documentation, monitoring, incident response, backup and recovery, asset management, and support processes. It will also coordinate vendors and service providers and partner with site technology teams on connectivity, shared infrastructure, and operational handoffs. Candidates should bring practical experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise infrastructure, workplace technology, and identity platforms, including secure access configurations in partnership with cybersecurity teams. Strong operational discipline, team leadership, vendor management, and the ability to balance technical execution with stakeholder discussions are required. Relevant backgrounds include infrastructure management, IT operations, infrastructure architecture or leadership, and senior infrastructure engineering with demonstrated team leadership. Experience in construction, industrial, energy, or multi-site environments is valuable.
