The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Legal Advisory with a focus on the BFSI/Fintech sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on critical contractual arrangements, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risks. This role demands a specialist with deep domain expertise in financial services, particularly in contract drafting, regulatory framework, and industry nuances. The AVP will be the second line of defense in the legal advisory team, advising on a range of legal matters and representing the team in cross-functional projects. Additionally, the role involves spearheading the legal function with external stakeholders and serving as a Center of Excellence for specific laws and regulatory areas. Applicants must have an LLB degree and a background in law, with a preference for those who have experience in corporate law within a law firm or in-house positions in the BFSI, service, or IT industry. The role requires a candidate with strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management abilities, analytical skills, and business acumen. The AVP will also be involved in managing legal disputes, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
