Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead engineering for two customer journeys and deliver reliable, high-quality enterprise software. The role will build and guide persistent, outcome-focused teams, partner closely with product and design leaders, and ensure shared workflows and AI-enabled capabilities are delivered to production standards. Responsibilities include improving delivery predictability, software quality, security, reliability, and production ownership; setting engineering standards; and advising executives on capacity, risk, and investment. The VP will also oversee team structure, leadership development, hiring, budgets, and performance reporting, while coordinating with global engineering and data teams. Candidates should have 15+ years of software engineering experience, including at least seven years leading organizations of 50 or more engineers in enterprise SaaS. Required experience includes delivering complex B2B products, building integration-heavy and data-intensive platforms, and working in empowered product teams. Strong technical depth in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, DevSecOps, and production AI or agent workflows is essential. Applicants should also bring experience leading distributed teams across US and India time zones, operating in regulated environments, and developing engineering leaders; domain experience in payments, supplier management, risk, or fintech is preferred.
