Associate Vice President, Research Administration

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Research Administration to lead its central research development, pre-award and non-financial post-award administration, and research integrity and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Research Administration department, advising on major decisions related to university-wide research, and providing technical and regulatory direction to executive leadership. This role also involves managing department budgets, serving as the institutional signature authority for all research-related agreements, and being the primary contact for state and federal reporting on the national impacts of grant and contract opportunities and awards. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of progressive central university management experience in two or more of the specified areas. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in research administration, including a deep understanding of the associated technical and regulatory aspects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a research administration department, be adept at financial management, and have the ability to provide strategic leadership in a complex academic environment.
