Chief Production Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Production Officer to take on a global production responsibility role across all company group locations. The successful candidate will be tasked with production planning, maintenance, and logistics, as well as leading a large international team with a focus on professional competence, goal orientation, and full budget responsibility. This leadership position also involves the initiation of continuous optimization and development of manufacturing processes, shop floor management, and monitoring of KPIs. The Chief Production Officer will play a key role in the development and implementation of the corporate strategy, with a direct reporting line to the management board. Applicants for the Chief Production Officer position at the company should have a technical degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in managing an internationally operating production organization within a medium-sized industrial company. The ideal candidate will have a background in continuous manufacturing processes, with a preference for experience in nonwoven fabric production, paper/film manufacturing, or textile technology. Strong intercultural leadership, social skills, and a hands-on, empathetic, and assertive approach to management are essential. The role requires fluency in German and English, as well as a willingness to travel internationally.
