Vice President, Financial Planning & Performance

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Financial Planning and Performance. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the enterprise in financial planning and performance management, providing executive leadership with a comprehensive view of financial performance, future outlook, and requirements. This role is pivotal in the establishment of enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, as well as in the development of financial performance reporting and capital budgeting. The VP will also be responsible for partnering with market CFOs and FP&A teams to ensure consistent planning practices and will be expected to offer financial insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly within a large health system or academic health system, is strongly preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong executive presence, the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively, and a proven track record in leading financial processes within a large, multi-entity organization. A CPA or other relevant professional designation is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare financial performance, cost structures, and reimbursement, and the ability to balance enterprise standardization with market-level accountability.
