Head of Financial Control, APAC

The Company is seeking a Head of Financial Control for the APAC region to lead financial control, reporting, governance, and performance. The role oversees a finance team and is responsible for regional financial and management reporting, period-end processes, balance sheet and general ledger control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital. Additional responsibilities include statutory reporting, audit, tax, treasury, compliance, risk management, inventory and product costing, capital expenditure analysis, and finance systems improvement. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to strengthen financial visibility, challenge performance, support decision-making, and develop the finance team. Candidates should hold a CA or CPA qualification and bring senior financial control experience in a complex business, ideally in manufacturing, consumer goods, distribution, or another inventory-based environment. Strong capabilities in statutory and management reporting, Australian tax, treasury, governance, compliance, inventory costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis are required. Experience with large enterprise resource planning systems, finance transformation, and leading and developing teams is also important. The ideal candidate can work through technical detail while providing clear, strategic advice to senior leaders.
