Associate Vice President, Data Analytics Greater Guangzhou, China Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Data Analytics to generate insights and recommendations from large structured and unstructured datasets across risk and operations. Responsibilities include applying statistical methods, predictive modeling, and AI/ML to develop scalable solutions; identifying business needs and translating them into measurable analytics use cases; and managing initiatives from solution design through validation and impact assessment. The role also involves partnering with business, operations, and technology teams to implement solutions and establish performance measures, while sharing knowledge and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a university degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data or information management, or a related field, and at least six years of retail banking analytics experience, including modeling and AI/ML. Strong skills in extracting insights from large datasets and hands-on experience with Python, SQL/BigQuery, visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense, and Google Cloud Platform are required. Experience in fraud, collections, underwriting, or KYC is an advantage. The role also calls for clear communication, effective collaboration across stakeholder groups, strong ownership, and a service-oriented approach.
