Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greater Hartford, CT Area

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and fiscal functions. The CFO will serve as the principal financial advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing strategic leadership on financial affairs, including investment decisions, and M&A activities. This role requires the development and execution of financial strategies to support corporate goals and long-term growth, as well as the oversight of financial management and reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for administrative and operational oversight, banking and financial partnerships, and leading cost optimization initiatives. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should be strategic financial leaders with a strong background in financial management, and at least 5 years' of progressive financial leadership experience. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a CPA or MBA preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing financial operations, developing financial strategies, and leading organizational change. Experience in professional services, engineering, or consulting industries is also preferred. The CFO must be a technically proficient, forward-thinking professional with the ability to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost savings, and organizational growth.
