Assistant Vice President, Registrar & Transfer Agency Services

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for its Registrar and Transfer Agency Services team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team that provides share registrar and transfer agency services to a diverse portfolio of onshore and offshore clients. This role demands a professional with a detailed understanding of various investment fund structures, comprehensive knowledge of local and international laws and regulatory requirements, and direct experience in managing a team of registrar and transfer agency administrators. The Assistant Vice President will also be involved in client-related administrative functions, ensuring compliance with risk policies, and will be expected to represent the company at industry events and contribute to business development. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a strong academic background, at least 3 years' of relevant experience in investor services for investment funds, and the ability to demonstrate strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills. The role requires a candidate with in-depth industry knowledge, particularly in private equity, series, partnership, and equalization methodologies, as well as experience with industry-recognized share registrar and transfer agency software systems. A thorough understanding of FATCA and CRS regulations is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at liaising with a range of stakeholders, including investors, investment managers, directors, and lawyers, across various international jurisdictions.
