Vice President, FIC Product Development Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of FIC Product Development to grow its OTC rates and foreign exchange clearing business and support the development of a leading offshore renminbi risk-management and clearing hub. Responsibilities include developing growth strategies, analyzing market and regulatory trends, and shaping new clearing services and product enhancements. The role will build relationships with banks, buy-side institutions, brokers, and other market participants to identify opportunities, encourage client onboarding and adoption, and address barriers to clearing. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, contribute to industry consultations and regulatory engagement, and prepare proposals and updates for senior stakeholders. Applicants should have a university degree, preferably in finance, economics, business, or a related field, and at least 10 years of relevant experience in financial markets, OTC derivatives, clearing, banking, trading, sales, product management, or financial market infrastructure. Strong knowledge of OTC interest rate and/or foreign exchange derivatives, the OTC trade lifecycle, clearing, post-trade processes, and relevant regulation is required; experience with repo, collateral management, or other FIC products is an advantage. Candidates should bring proven client engagement, business development, or product development experience, along with commercial acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines are also required; Mandarin is an advantage.
