Senior Vice President of Operations

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead operational functions and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role oversees scheduling, warehouse operations, prefabrication, and BIM/VDC, while providing executive leadership for the safety program and its continuous improvement. Responsibilities include setting departmental goals and performance measures, coordinating workforce planning with project and field leaders, monitoring schedules and operational risks, and advancing project coordination and prefabrication processes. The SVP also supports budgeting and cost control, reviews performance metrics, develops department leaders, and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety. Candidates should have at least 10 years of leadership experience in electrical contracting, including five or more years with a large electrical contractor, and demonstrated success managing multiple operational departments and leadership teams. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business administration is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of electrical construction operations, scheduling, BIM/VDC coordination, warehouse logistics, and prefabrication is essential, along with experience in process improvement and workforce planning. The role also calls for strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with construction management software, scheduling platforms, BIM technologies, and ERP systems is preferred.
