Chief Operating Officer (COO) Greater Huntsville, AL Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead daily operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. The role oversees production, department leaders, operational efficiency, cost control, and consistent performance standards. Responsibilities include monitoring output, staffing, equipment, materials, budgets, and expenses; coordinating production, quality, shipping, and inventory; and addressing operational issues through corrective action. The COO also reviews operational and financial results, ensures compliance with policies and safety requirements, and communicates significant findings and recommendations to executive leadership. Candidates should have substantial experience managing manufacturing or industrial operations, including department leaders, production teams, budgets, and operational performance. Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to assess costs and performance data and manage competing priorities across multiple facilities. A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, manufacturing management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered. Relevant operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement certifications are also preferred.
