Vice President of Application Services

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Application Services to oversee its enterprise clinical, revenue cycle, and enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategy, roadmap, and governance of the application portfolio in line with the system's clinical, operational, and financial objectives. This role demands a leader who can ensure the stability and performance of the current environment while driving the adoption of standardized applications across all facilities. Key responsibilities include leading the system-wide rollout of standard applications, managing vendor relationships, and establishing standards for change control, testing, and regulatory compliance. The Vice President will also be tasked with building and developing high-performing application teams and partnering with various clinical and business leaders to deliver measurable value. Applicants for the Vice President of Application Services position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and have at least 7 years of healthcare IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise applications, particularly in the healthcare sector, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading multi-facility implementations, standardization, and system integration efforts, as well as the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, multi-site environment. Strong organizational, portfolio management, and communication skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of IT governance, service delivery, project and portfolio management, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
