Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff to advise the President and CEO and lead enterprise strategic planning. The role translates long-term direction into coordinated priorities, measurable outcomes, and sustained execution, while monitoring progress, risks, and resource needs and reporting on them to executive and board leadership. The successful candidate will assess growth and transformation opportunities, develop business cases for major strategic decisions, and help address cross-functional barriers. The position also supports CEO effectiveness, coordinates executive discussions around strategic priorities, and prepares board-level strategy materials. Candidates should have at least 12 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including substantial work in strategy, financial services, enterprise transformation, corporate development, operations, or executive leadership. Experience advising senior executives, leading enterprise planning, managing complex cross-functional initiatives, and preparing executive- and board-level materials is required; experience in a complex, regulated financial institution is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education, experience, or military service is required, while a master’s degree or equivalent advanced education is preferred. Relevant industry leadership certifications are also preferred.
