Head of Group Accounting & Reporting

The Company is seeking a Head of Group Accounting & Reporting to oversee group accounting, financial reporting, and the ongoing development of related processes. Responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles; ensuring IFRS-compliant accounting; preparing consolidated financial statements; and coordinating group-wide reporting and external audits. The role also leads non-financial reporting, including relevant sustainability disclosures, and develops inventory accounting, reporting standards, and internal procedures. The successful candidate will lead a team of five and collaborate with international subsidiaries, senior leadership, and other stakeholders on complex accounting matters. Candidates should hold a master’s degree, ideally in finance, accounting, or a related business field, and bring several years of experience at a major accounting firm followed by corporate experience. Strong IFRS knowledge and practical expertise in group accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, and audit coordination are required, along with management experience. Applicants should have excellent written and spoken English, a structured and analytical approach, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly. Experience with publicly listed organizations, international or consumer-focused businesses, and sustainability reporting is advantageous; German language skills are also beneficial.
