Associate Vice President, Financial Crime Detection & Forward Deployment Engineer

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Financial Crime Detection & Forward Deployment Engineer to help deliver safe, production-ready AI capabilities for financial crime investigations. The role supports use cases from discovery and prototyping through evaluation, testing, and controlled production release, translating user needs into practical technical solutions. Responsibilities include building reusable engineering and evaluation components, collaborating with investigators and technical and control teams, supporting user adoption, and documenting delivery decisions and risks. The successful candidate will also apply established engineering and control practices, contribute to monitoring and incident response, and identify and escalate operational, data, model, cybersecurity, and financial crime risks. Candidates should have hands-on Python engineering experience and exposure to PyTorch or an equivalent machine-learning framework. Working knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, API integration, evaluation, cloud technologies, automated testing, deployment, and observability is required. Experience contributing to software or AI delivery across development and operational stages, along with secure engineering, enterprise integrations, data pipelines, monitoring, and controlled change, is important. Applicants should also be interested in financial crime investigations and able to learn relevant workflows while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
