Vice President, Custody Clearing & Settlements Operations Greater Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead a custody clearing and settlements operations function supporting global markets and securities services. The role oversees a sizeable team and is accountable for service delivery, risk and controls, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include streamlining processes, setting and monitoring performance and risk indicators, addressing control weaknesses, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The Vice President will also lead change implementation, develop the management team, partner with stakeholders across regions, and manage operating costs and budgets. Candidates should have a strong understanding of custody clearing and settlement operations and proven experience leading an operations function, including staffing and team development. The role requires expertise in risk, controls, and exception management, along with the ability to work effectively across regions and shape onshore and offshore operating models. Strong communication, relationship management, and budget management skills are essential. Experience partnering with audit and compliance, establishing governance and reporting, delivering operational efficiencies, and supporting cross-regional initiatives is an advantage.
