Vice President, Commercial Lending Greater Las Vegas, NV Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Commercial Lending. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently developing a robust pipeline of commercial lending opportunities through various channels, including direct calling, referrals, and community involvement. This role demands a proactive approach to sourcing transactions and achieving annual production, deposit, fee-income, and relationship-growth goals. The VP will own the entire credit process, from application to closing, and must be adept at collecting and validating financial information, analyzing business and personal financial statements, and preparing well-supported credit memoranda. Active management of a commercial loan portfolio, including covenant monitoring and risk management, is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of commercial lending laws, regulations, and sound risk-management practices. The role requires the ability to independently underwrite complex commercial credits and a proven track record in business development, underwriting, closing, and portfolio management. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to present credit requests and explain decisions to both approval authorities and members. The ideal candidate will have prior commercial lending experience and demonstrate adaptability in adopting AI-enabled workflows. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the candidate should be adept at using technology to enhance business development, underwriting, and operational efficiency while maintaining a high standard of judgment and protecting confidential information.
