Head of Capital Projects

The Company is seeking a Head of Capital Projects to lead its capital investment and estate improvement programme across a diverse, multi-site estate. The role oversees project delivery, budgets, procurement, contractors, consultants, governance, compliance, and programme management. The successful candidate will help set investment priorities, provide strategic oversight across multiple projects, and build effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. They will also translate complex technical information into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences. Candidates should bring strong experience in construction, refurbishment, capital project delivery, or estates, including managing budgets, contractors, consultants, and multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to balance strategic oversight with effective project delivery. A relevant degree, HNC/HND, or professional qualification is advantageous; equivalent experience will also be considered.
