Board Trustee

The Company is seeking a Board Trustee to provide strategic direction, constructive challenge, and practical support as it delivers its next organizational strategy. Trustees help ensure the organization achieves its core purpose and makes a meaningful impact through its work. The role involves contributing to board discussions, supporting effective decision-making, and helping guide the organization through its next phase. Applicants should bring commitment, relevant expertise, and an interest in the organization’s mission; prior board, climate, or charity-sector experience is not required. Particularly relevant skills include relationship-building and working across differences, experience with economically disadvantaged communities, and expertise in digital communications, audience development, or marketing. Knowledge of climate adaptation, infrastructure, just transition, or charity law and compliance is also valued. New trustees receive training and support to help them understand the role and its responsibilities.
