Deputy General Counsel

The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to serve as a senior legal leader and link between the General Counsel and the wider legal team. Responsibilities include managing the team, deputising for the General Counsel when needed, and balancing hands-on legal work with strategic guidance. The role covers a broad range of in-house matters, including corporate, regulatory, and commercial work, while supporting multiple UK entities within a global business structure. The successful candidate will help ensure local decisions align with the wider organization. Candidates should have substantial in-house legal experience and demonstrable experience in financial services; exposure to investment products is an advantage. The role may suit an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with management experience or an established Deputy General Counsel. Applicants must be qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and have the legal right to work in the UK. Strong team management skills and the ability to navigate a global business environment are important.
