Head of Legal

The Company is seeking a Head of Legal to provide strategic legal leadership and advise executive leaders on governance across its entities. The role oversees a broad legal portfolio, including editorial media law, investigations, publications, litigation, contracts, intellectual property, brand protection, and regulatory matters. Responsibilities include managing legal risk, coordinating external counsel, negotiating complex agreements, and embedding sound legal practices across the organization. Candidates must be UK-qualified lawyers with significant senior-level experience, ideally gained in-house or in a complex international environment. Deep expertise in editorial media law, litigation, and commercial contracts is required, along with the judgment and communication skills to advise executive leaders on complex, high-profile issues. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can balance legal risk with organizational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
