Head of Technical Production

The Company is seeking a Head of Technical Production to lead the technical delivery of its events, productions, and live experiences. The successful candidate will be the in-house technical lead, working closely with producers, creative teams, and external partners to ensure that every production is executed to the highest technical and operational standards. This role involves taking ownership of all technical aspects, from planning to delivery, and requires a strong background in senior technical production roles within live events, entertainment, or experiential environments. Key responsibilities for the Head of Technical Production include overseeing lighting, sound, AV, staging, and production infrastructure, managing technical budgets, and establishing technical standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge across various production systems, proven experience in delivering complex events, and strong commercial awareness. They should also be adept at managing technical teams, freelancers, and external production companies, and have excellent knowledge of production health and safety, technical compliance, and operational best practices. The role demands a leader with the confidence to balance creative ideas with practical technical solutions and a genuine passion for live experiences.
