Interim Head of Commercial & DMO, Planning, Property & Contracts

The successful candidate will be responsible for line management of these teams and will also deputize for the Monitoring Officer. This role is pivotal in providing legal advice and support across all aspects of the Council's services. The Head of Commercial will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, be adept at managing difficult situations, and possess a flexible approach to work. Strong client care skills and the ability to market the Council's services effectively are also essential. Applicants for the Head of Commercial position at the company should be qualified Solicitors, Barristers, or Chartered Legal Executives with a current Practising Certificate and have experience in a local government setting. The role requires a team player who is confident, robust, and can work well in a professional legal team.
