Interim Head of Sustainability, Social Value & ESG Greater London, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Sustainability, Social Value & ESG to lead the integration of its Social Value strategy, governance, and operating practices across the organization. The role will guide a multidisciplinary team, advise senior stakeholders, manage budgets and supplier partnerships, and oversee investment decisions and impact measurement. Responsibilities include advancing inclusion and accessibility, supporting environmental commitments and Net Zero reporting, and developing volunteering and community impact programs. The successful candidate will strengthen governance, reporting, risk controls, and stakeholder engagement while building lasting organizational capability and ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities. Candidates should bring significant leadership experience in Social Value, ESG, or responsible business, along with knowledge of accessibility and disability inclusion frameworks. Strong commercial judgment and experience managing budgets, suppliers, and investment decisions are required, as is the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Applicants should have expertise in social impact measurement and governance, and experience leading multidisciplinary specialist teams. Experience with public bodies, regulators, charities, or community organizations, and familiarity with ESG, Social Value, and sustainability reporting frameworks, are desirable.
