Interim Head of B&PB Investment & Execution Greater Melbourne, Australia Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Investment and Execution to translate divisional strategic priorities into disciplined, well-governed, measurable delivery. The role leads investment governance, portfolio execution, benefits management, reporting, and performance insights, while maintaining an integrated view of priorities, capacity, commitments, risks, and dependencies. Responsibilities include setting planning and prioritisation cycles, overseeing investment decisions from business case through closure, and establishing governance forums and reporting that support executive decisions. The successful candidate will also lead and develop a high-performing team, advise senior leaders, and strengthen execution practices across the division. Candidates should bring extensive experience in portfolio governance, investment oversight, and complex execution in large organisations. Strong expertise in funding, forecasting, budgeting, financial performance, benefits realisation, delivery planning, risk management, and dependency management is required. The role also calls for strategic and commercial acumen, data-informed decision-making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly. People leadership and experience building effective governance, reporting, and execution systems are essential; banking, transformation, and change leadership experience are advantageous.
