Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a part-time, contract Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning and oversight for a major capital program while safeguarding long-term financial health. Responsibilities include managing operating and capital budgets, reviewing financial statements and cash positions, strengthening internal controls, and coordinating audits and tax filings. The CFO will advise senior leadership and governance groups, prepare clear financial presentations, and develop multi-year capital plans, project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and funding strategies. The role also involves partnering with project representatives and construction professionals on estimates, bids, contracts, change orders, payments, and project close-out. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience and direct financial ownership of a major construction, renovation, or expansion project from planning through close-out. Required expertise includes construction accounting, project funding through reserves, assessments, or debt, and the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders. A CPA or equivalent professional credential is required. Experience in private clubs, hospitality, resorts, real estate development, or tax-exempt organizations is preferred.
