Vice President, Asset Management, Student Housing / Multifamily Greater Miami, FL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President or Director of Asset Management to oversee a portfolio of multifamily and student housing properties, including stabilized assets, repositionings, developments, and redevelopments. Responsibilities include monitoring financial and operating performance against business plans, guiding property management teams, managing operating partner relationships, and adjusting property strategies to improve performance. The role also involves overseeing leasing, marketing, renovations, construction, refinancing, and critical property deliverables, while coordinating with internal teams and evaluating potential investments. The successful candidate will track market trends and use industry relationships to address challenges and support portfolio performance. Candidates should have at least 15 years of relevant real estate experience, including 10 or more years in multifamily or student housing asset management. Strong operational, strategic, financial, analytical, and Excel skills are required, along with experience working with operating partners and negotiating third-party contracts. The ideal candidate can develop and execute investment strategies, exercise sound judgment, and make independent decisions while collaborating effectively with colleagues and external partners. Experience with asset management platforms is helpful but not required.
