Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a VP Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be the first dedicated senior finance executive, playing a pivotal role in the company's next phase of growth. This hands-on position involves taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function, including FP&A, accounting oversight, lender management, and financial analysis of the company's asset base. The VP Finance will be a strategic partner to the ownership and senior leadership team, with a major focus on developing the financial and operational insight necessary to optimize asset utilization, pricing, returns, and capital deployment. Key responsibilities also include building FP&A capabilities, developing detailed financial analysis, and leading the development of the company's finance infrastructure as it scales. Candidates for the VP Finance role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' progressive finance experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in asset rental, equipment leasing, fleet, transportation, or other capital-intensive business models. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset and unit economics, FP&A, and financial modeling capabilities, as well as a solid accounting foundation. Experience in managing bank relationships, credit facilities, and a proven track record of leading systems and process improvements within a growing organization are essential. The role requires a commercially minded individual who can translate financial and operational data into actionable business insight and is comfortable operating in a lean and fast-growing environment. While not essential, experience in sponsor-backed or family office-backed environments is advantageous.
