The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety to lead enterprise safety strategy across complex, high-hazard operations. The role integrates risk prevention into business planning, investment, estimating, scheduling, staffing, and daily execution. Responsibilities include partnering with operational leaders to strengthen accountability, guiding critical-risk controls and incident learning, and developing a capable safety team with strong field presence. The VP will also improve the use of safety data, foster employee trust and continuous improvement, and collaborate across operational and corporate functions. Candidates should bring progressive safety leadership experience in construction, materials, transportation, or similarly complex, multi-site operations. They need strong knowledge of occupational safety, serious injury prevention, operational risk controls, and regulatory requirements, along with the ability to influence executives, develop teams, and drive measurable change. Credibility with field employees and sound judgment in challenging safety and production decisions are essential. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience is required; a Certified Safety Professional credential or comparable qualification is valued.
